Terms of Use

Last updated: 19/05/2025

Introduction

By using Alblooms ("App"), provided by Patrick Schönmann ("we," "us," "our"), you ("user," "you") agree to these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully.

Shared Content & Withdrawal Policy

  • Content uploaded to shared clouds becomes collectively accessible. You explicitly acknowledge that shared content generally cannot be individually withdrawn once uploaded. Specific exceptions may apply to unshared content, subject to future functionality.
  • Personal selection to retain or discard shared content does not affect its availability for other users.

Sensitive Content Removal

  • Sensitive or explicit content removal requires unanimous consent from all cloud participants. Alblooms offers no automated removal process.
  • If consensus isn't achieved, disputes must be resolved independently via direct legal action between involved users. Alblooms disclaims responsibility in these disputes.

Data Encryption and Content Loss

Your uploaded photos are encrypted in a way that only your device or your knowledge of your PIN/password allows decryption. Alblooms has no means to recover your photos if you forget your PIN/password, or if your device is lost, damaged, or stolen and no PIN/password was ever set. We expressly disclaim any liability for content loss due to these reasons.

Account and User Responsibilities

  • You must be at least 12 years old. Users under 16 must have parental or guardian consent.
  • You agree to provide truthful registration details and maintain account security.

Monetization

Alblooms offers subscription plans and in-app purchases. Pricing and terms will be disclosed clearly at the time of purchase.

Account Deletion

Users may delete accounts, but uploaded shared content remains unaffected.

Limitation of Liability

  • Alblooms provides services "as is." We disclaim warranties regarding app reliability, accuracy, and availability.
  • Alblooms is not liable for damages or disputes arising from user-shared content or personal encryption key loss.

Amendments

These terms may be updated periodically. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
